La Flânerie

A stroll through Paris - Manymany explores the 2015 annual theme of Hermès, La Flânerie (“Strolling about”) to animate the display windows of the Swiss branch: the company’s various craft trades are staged in unusual circumstances in Paris. A silk shawl is reading the newspaper in the Luxembourg gardens, where the sculptures are wearing kerchiefs, while the shoes traipse about Montmartre.
The leather goods jaywalk across the quays of the Seine river, while the accessories in love peck at each other in front of a view of the Rodin Museum… The images of Paris custom made for each display comprise the background of a three-dimensional stage set.
