MAKING-OF
La Flânerie
< Back to project La Flânerie
Paris is depicted in a series of 5 illustrations adapted to the format of each of the Hermès stores’ 33 displays: Montmartre, the Rodin Museum gardens, the quays of the Seine, the Luxembourg gardens and the panorama of the Parc de Belleville complement each other to provide a poetic and luminous vision of Paris.
The statues in conversation with the mannequins were chosen from the rich collection of plaster casts owned by the Haute École d’Art et de Design (HEAD) in Geneva: this collection is used as academic models to teach drawing and sculpture. The displays devoted to ready-to-wear items likewise offer a stroll through the Louvre Museum.
